The company has developed an 8' enclosed vertical fan. When fans cannot be installed on the ceiling because of obstructions, the newly developed version can be used to provide a comfortable environment for workers, the company says. The vertical fan pivots so the air can be directed to wherever it is desired.
The company says its high volume/low speed fans cost less than a nickel an hour in electricity to operate. According to the company, some utilities and power companies offer rebates and incentives because of the fans' energy efficiency. With energy savings throughout the year, the company says payback on the fans is typically two years or less.
