Global Shop Solutions introduces the 2014.1 version of its ERP software. The update contains a new main menu with an interface said to simplify the user experience by reducing the number of clicks to perform actions throughout the system. The menu also includes a scrolling message at the bottom of the screen to broadcast important company news or industry announcements. Using the customization and personalization options, users can change colors and themes and create custom workspaces and application groups.
General ledger history enhancements enable users to move data to a history file, reducing the size of the general ledger detail file and speeding processing times. According to Global Shop Solutions, financial information flows faster through the fully integrated system, so users have quick access to reports and financial statements.
Also included is the Version Management System (VMS), an add-on to the Document Control ERP module. The addition offers individual and group security features designed to ensure data integrity on customer documents. Files are directly stored in the database, enabling multiple versions of a document to be stored simultaneously.
