The Utilis Multidec 1600 series thin grooving and micro turning tools from Genevieve Swiss is designed for work measuring less than 0.125" diameter. Insert widths range from 0.0019" to 0.108" with cutting edge repeatability within 0.0004". The tools are available with a variety of coatings.

The company also offers high speed live tooling attachments with a maximum speed of 15,000 rpm. These attachments are available as a direct replacement for various Swiss machines with no retrofitting required. They provide increased speeds, feeds and tool life to reduce cycle times, the company says.

Also available are Swiss-type rotary broach holders, which feature a low-interference compact design.
