Royal Products’ Quick-Grip (QG) manual collet fixtures are suitable for use with the company’s QG-42, 65 and 80 series collets. The fourth- and fifth-axis fixtures can be used in both stationary and rotary table applications, and the bottom and all four sides are ground for both vertical and horizontal mounting. The unit features parallel-grip collets with a 0.062" clamping range and is actuated vie a hybrid mechanical/hydraulic mechanism. The pullback design with an internally threaded back plate enables the use of a stop rod for more precise workpiece positioning. According to the company, 10-sec. collet changes are possible with the fixtures.
