Manufactured by Kaiser Tool Company, Thinbit’s Groove ’N Turn toolholders are available in square sizes of ¾" and 1" and are used for making undercuts and thread reliefs at 45-degree angles. The toolholders can be used on conventional, Swiss and CNC machines for grooving insets in sizes from 0.004" to 0.155". Inserts are available in three grades of material: D2 for steels, D5 for non-ferrous and HSS. Also available are TiN, TiCN and TiAIN, along with a full selection of radius and special configurations.
