Sandvik offers a range of drills designed for rivet and bolt holes in carbon reinforced plastics and metallic stack materials.
Sandvik offers a range of drills designed for rivet and bolt holes in carbon reinforced plastics and metallic stack materials. Each carbon fiber material has its own demands, which increases the risk for delamination or splintering. The company says its CoroDrill 452 geometries reduce this risk and ensure the stringent hole tolerances are met. The range includes reamer geometries and a countersink tool with microstop for chamfering.
