Designed for copy, channel and deep-pocket machining, the Pro-Trio ballnose contour roughers from Ingersoll feature three-effective flutes to increase productivity. Double-sided insert technology provides twice the indexes, and the inserts are held in place with a dovetail clamping system for increased stability.
In side milling applications, side cutting insert stations increase flexibility. The system is said to provide faster feed rates, higher material removal rates, increased reliability and greater economy.
