Leaders-In background

Sandvik Coromant offers two insert grades: The GC1125 grade is suited for threading operations in steels, cast irons and aluminum, while the GC1135 grade is suited for stainless steels, super alloys and profiles requiring sharp cutting edges. Additionally, both grades are available in the 16-mm insert for CoroThread 266. Thisinsert is said to be useful for general threading applications, and it benefits from the iLock interface with its secure insert clamping. This stability improves threading performance by increasing precision and enabling cutting in fewer passes.
