Gagemaker says its TDWIN Taper software is a single source for details needed to machine, inspect and document tubular connection threads. It provides critical dimensions and drawings for downhole tubular connectors based on current industry standards.
According to the company, the software gives easy access to information for both preferred and non-preferred rotary shouldered connections, tubing and casing connections, and any combination of crossover. A variety of connection types and sizes are offered, along with several options for viewing drawings, reviewing inspection gage information and setting up inspection reports.
The software delivers printable drawings suitable for manufacturing. All drawings follow ASME Y14.100 standards for industry compatibility. Users can print gage setup and inspection reports with specific customer and order information. The program is available in both single-user and server versions.
