Tapping Arm Reduces Material-Handling Costs

Designed to be moved easily anywhere on the shop floor, the FlexArm M-60 allows operators to avoid moving parts that need tapping or deburring from one work station to the next. Rather, users can place the arm where more complicated operations are performed to reduce material-handling costs, the company says.
Powered by shop pressure at 90 psi, the unit can tap from 0-80 to 9/16" in steel. With a working range of 22" to 76", the product stays perpendicular regardless of where it is on the table. Larger units also are available to increase the tapping capacity to 7/8".
