The Rer-20 operates at less than half the decibel levels of many pneumatic units, while possessing the ability to tap up to a 7/8" (M22) in steel, the company says. The variable two-speed motor (500/150 rpm) with a digital readout allows the operator to control the speed for maximum tap life. The electric tapping arm is equipped with a semi-automatic tap lubricator. A multi-positional head unit is also available for vertical and horizontal tapping.
