Cecor’s SP50-500CB5 coolant sump cleaner features a 500-gallon tank mounted on a battery-operated truck to ease mobility as it moves large fluid loads through the plant. The cleaner removes both coolant and solids from machine tool sumps. Its large-capacity filter holds 5 cu. ft. of solids, and coolant can be pumped back to the machine tool or transported to a recycling center. The cleaner uses a self-contained, 20-hp propane engine, so the machine does not need to be positioned near an electrical outlet.
The sump cleaner’s lobe-type positive displacement pump generates suction ranging to 13" Hg or 177" water and pumps at rates ranging to 100 gpm. The cleaner features an overhead cam and valve design and pressure lubrication to maximize torque and power. The tank is equipped with automatic overfill protection and all discharge ports have valves.
