Software Update Includes New Stock Models
Mastercam X6 from CNC Software features new functionality for stock models, multi-bladed parts, Z-level cuts and more.
3D high speed hybrid tool paths maintain all Z-level cuts in steep areas of parts while filling in shallow areas with scallop motion within a single Z section. These tool paths use waterline (constant Z) motion and scallop where needed. Both waterline and scallop motion can be used at the same Z section, section after section, to improve finish and tool use efficiency.
