Software To Machine From Non-Native CAD Models

Share

Leaders-In background
VX Corporation’s CAD/CAM Offset3D Feature-Aware Machining software is suited for machining complex core/cavity shapes derived from sources such as non-native CAD models, STL representations and point-cloud data. The software is fully integrated with CAD and is easy to learn and use, the company says. In addition to producing accurate tool paths, the software is fast, which helps mold makers quickly change part and mold designs. The software allows mold makers to target highlight areas, and it automatically adjusts toolpath motion to preserve detail and maximize tool-cutting efficiency.
