Software Helps Students Learn CAD/CAM
Mastercam QuickPart, a standalone product developed on the Mastercam Demo/Home Learning Edition platform, is designed to offer students a fast, easy way to design and cut parts while learning the principles of CAD/CAM through step-by-step instructions.
Controls enable instructors to configure the program to match their students’ needs and available resources. In addition, each project can generate a detailed setup sheet including info such as toolpath, stock size, selected tool and more, which instructors can review before running the CNC machine.
