View MoreMethods Machine Tools offers CAMplete TruePath turn-mill software for the Nakamura-Tome line of turn-mill machines. The integrated suite of G-code editing, optimization, analysis and verification tools is said to enable a full range of turn-mill functionality.
The software is designed to combine G-code from CAM systems and hand-coded G-code into a set of programs that can be simulated, fine-tuned and optimized using detailed 3D Nakamura machine models. It offers full simulation of Nakamura turning centers and programs as well as detailed tooling and workholding libraries. The G-code editor enables modification of posted or unposted data, and changes automatically update to both the tool path and the G-code. Optimization functions include wait-code editing, capability to reorder and move operations, and fine-tuning and optimization capability to simplify multitasking. The software also monitors various aspects of machine motion, including true cutting speeds, axis velocity and acceleration, and motion deviations. Finally, it includes verification features that employ detailed machine models for machines, tooling and workholding.
