Enhanced to offer clamping torque as high as 205 N, the CNC105 rotary table features a customized carbide worm system.
The table is useful for a range of applications including indexing, lead cutting/rotational milling of small size workpieces and supporting fixtures for multiple workpieces.
It is designed with a carbide worm system that incorporates a carbide worm screw and an ion nitrided worm wheel, rather than a bronze or bronze alloy actuation mechanism. According to the company, this results in a reduction in friction and wear. The worm screw consists of a V-grade form of carbide, while the worm gear is ion nitrided to a depth of 0.1 mm, with an external surface hardness of 68 Rc.
