The company's aluminum oxide wheels are said to provide increased cutting speed and minimal burr when cutting heavier gauge metals. The product is a 0.045" thick rigid cutting wheel coated with a fine grit, making it useful for cutting materials such as rebar, large diameter rods and stainless steel.
Available in 4 1/2" and 6" versions, the wheels features a abrasive/resin formulation that the company states increases wheel life by up to 300 percent over previous blends and provides for faster metal cutting. Also, the wheels are specially formulated to leave no contaminants behind such as sulfur, carbon or chlorine that could impact a weld, the company says.
