View MoreDevansco says machining metals used in medical components, including hexavalent chromium, titanium, aluminum and others, can put employees at risk of suffering from short and/or long-term health effects such as lung cancer, asthma and allergic reactions. To prevent exposure to dust from these materials, the company’s Wet Scrubber removes dangerous particles as they are being formed.
The scrubber uses a vacuum to pull in contaminated air and force it through an air-purification process. The clean air is then circulated either back into the working area or outside. The accumulated waste can then be removed for recycling or disposal.
