Dimensional Control’s SpiderCool Ultra multi-nozzle programmable coolant systems are designed for vertical and horizontal machining centers. The servo-controlled system automates the process of aiming flood coolant by memorizing coolant settings for each tool. Hands-free, automated coolant aim increases cutting speeds, extends tool life and improve safety, the company says. It also enables unattended machining.
The company also will introduce its SpiderCool Grind for coolant optimization on cylindrical and other types of grinding machines.
