New Metal Fabricating Solution
Share
Scotchman Industries has added the 5014 CM Ironworker to its metal fabricating solutions. This machine has heavier capacities and more features than the previous model, including 50 tons of pressure and the capability to punch a 13/16" hole in 3/4", and an angle shear that can shear to 4" × 4" × 3/8" at 90 degrees—virtually distortion free—and both legs of 2" × 2" × 3/8" at 45 degrees. The flat bar shear has a low rake angle and can shear 3/4" × 4"; 1/2" × 6"; 3/8" × 8"; 1/4" × 12"; and 3/16" × 14", with optional saber blade capacities that can be increased to 1/2" × 10", 3/8" × 12" and 1/4" × 14".
The model has a component tool table design and can accept optional equipment, including press brakes; rod shear; square tube shear; and picket tools and pipe notchers. Customized tooling is also available.
