The new line of KUB Centron drills has an extended range to nine times the hole's diameter, with a product range of 20 mm to 45 mm (0.787" to 1.772").
By modifying the design, the company aims to improve concentricity and extend the tool life of the center drill. The connection between the drill head and basic element is said to allow higher torque transmission. Coolant supply with direct application onto the face surface of the tool has been altered, which ensures optimum flow, according to the company.
The drills are suitable for extreme application areas or with interrupted cut. Thus, production reliability is said to be increased.
