The Demmeler modular fixturing system for welding includes a wide range of components to fixture a variety of workpieces. Fixtures for prototypes, specials, spares or any other short-run welding job can be prepared in approximately 4 hours. The flexibility of the system is said to allow engineering changes to be dealt with easily. Duplicate fixtures can be ready in 20 minutes, the company says. By using modular fixturing, a shop can recover valuable production space once used for storage of obsolete dedicated fixtures.
