View MoreThe Kalamazoo Industries Model K12-14MS metallurgical saw is capable of producing the mirror-surface cuts necessary for mold proofing in foundries, quality control labs and applications in which metal must be cut to a polished finish for assaying. The saw features a 5-hp, 3 PH 1725 RPM TEFC motor with a 2,200-rpm spindle speed, feed rate adjustable from 0 to 12 fpm, and momentary rapid override for rapid approach. It can be equipped with a 12" or 14" abrasive wheel optimized for the metal being cut, and an optional oscillation feature promotes high surface polish. The machine is totally enclosed with flood cooling wet cutting and features semi-automatic power downfeed for controlled feed rates. The saw’s capacity ranges to 2.5" solids and 3" shapes. It offers dual moveable 4" screw vises and removable side access panels to accommodate long parts.
