Borries Marking Systems’ MicroLiner 312 can produce scribe, stylus or dot-matrix marking processes that are readable by the human eye as well as DataMatrix code marking that can be interpreted by automated vision systems. The unit’s controller can generate time and data codes internally or receive marking data from other sources via an RS232 interface or optional RS422, TTY, Profibus or Ethernet.
With a marking window of 2" × 2" on an X/Y axis, the unit is capable of marking at speeds of 4 characters per second. It uses a compact controller with ZAM4 capability and IP54 protection. Mounting can be in any orientation, and a protective cover is available for dirty or wet environments.
