MIE Solutions’ maintenance asset management software, MIE maintenance, is designed to help companies in asset-intensive industries maintain and manage their investments. The software handles both maintenance requests and pre-defined tasks to notify when work should be performed. Maintenance requests can be denied or approved. Once a request is approved, a work order is created.
The software includes asset usage and logging, inventory management, purchase order management and fixed-asset reporting. The interface uses a ribbon bar, tab controls and other tools to ease implementation and training, the company says. The software can be integrated into the user’s ERP system to better manage assets, repair costs, scheduling and asset usage.
