Leaders-In background

When cutting stainless steel and cast materials, PCT-GW Cutting Tools’ SXC series high-performance long drills are designed for increased tool life, faster runs and reduced downtime due to premature tool changes. The spiral-fluted, right-hand-cut drills feature spiral shaped internal coolant holes and are available in 16×D, 20×D, 25×D and 30×D models.

The cam-release drill point creates stronger, more-symmetrical, self-centering end geometry, which is said to offer high penetration capabilities and accuracy. The internal coolant design promotes controlled and steady operating temperatures to improve coolant flow to the cut, while maintaining strength to increase tool life at increased operating parameters. The drills are coated with Varianta Supral for machining virtually all types of steel under both dry and wet conditions.
