The Stubby series of deburring tooling from E-Z Burr is designed for use in modern Swiss-type machines. According to the company, the tooling can smoothly finish the front and back of a hole in a single pass within seconds. It also prevents interference with the workpiece, even in limited spaces, with only 1.25" extending out of the collet.
The live tooling is available in both high speed steel and carbide. The HSS application range is for hole diameters ranging from 0.093" to 0.236" (2.38 to 6 mm). The carbide series application range is for hole diameters ranging from 0.125" to 0.236" (3.18 to 6 mm). Both tools measure 2.82" (71.6 mm) in overall length.
