Dynastraight series of portable, air-powered abrasive tools from Dynabrade, Inc. feature an ergonomically-designed composite housing, which can reduce tool vibration. The housing is also thermal-insulated to prevent cold air transmission to the operator. Applications for use include paint and rust removal; refining before final finishing; medium- and fine-grain finishing; and final finishing.
Capabilities ranging from 0.4 hp to 1 hp are available. The tools are useful for abrasive, impregnated non-woven nylon products, coated abrasive flap wheels, buffs and Scotch-Brite abrasive belts mounted on Dynacushion inflatable pneumatic wheels. The inflatable pneumatic wheel can accomplish finishing of work surfaces of virtually any shape, contour or material, the company says. It is also suitable for finishing stainless steel and other metals.
