Designed to compliment intelligent CMMs, Mitee-Bite’s “lean” line of workholding products are designed to increase productivity by enabling one-handed part swaps. The gripping edge of the Trigger-Finger, Cross-Bow, D-Block and Trigger-Block works like a trigger or spring to hold the part for measuring, then releases the work the part.
Kits are modular and are available in 5S-ready packaging, the company says. Users can design them into custom, multiple-part fixtures or use them on a fixture plate for one-piece inspections.
