Ganesh Machinery introduces the ASL-100 CNC lathe with automatic part loading and unloading capability for processing parts with diameters ranging to 2.3". The machine features a 6,000-rpm, 15-hp spindle with a 6" hydraulic chuck and is equipped with a 12-station tool turret, with a driven-tool turret and Y axis available.
The dual parts gripper receives a new part from an incoming parts belt and loads it into the lathe spindle after removing the finished part from the chuck. The finished part is then placed on an outgoing finished parts belt and a new part is loaded into the gripper unit for continuous automatic operation. The incoming parts belt can be fed by a vibratory bowl feeder or a high-capacity parts storage system for high production applications.
In addition to the ASL-100, Ganesh will feature the seven-axis Cyclone-32 CS Swiss-style lathe for bar work ranging to 1 3/8" in diameter.
