Southwestern Industries Trak K3SX knee mill, with the Proto Trak SMX control, is available as a two-axis CNC machine or with a quill drive for automatic three-axis CNC machining. Precision ground ballscrews are installed on the table and saddle of the mill. The knee mill’s wide way surfaces are hardened and ground and the slide ways are Turcite coated. The mill has standard glass scale for quill Z readout. Other features of the knee mill include chromed, hardened and ground quills and Meehanite castings.
