An integrated and associative CAD software, TopSolid'Design 2007 includes an improved compass to see negative axes as well as a new arrow to locate assembly parts. Available from Missler Software, the program automatically transforms drawings into sketches, enabling users to design by drawing. In addition, users can isolate assembly parts without losing associativity.
The software also offers assistance to repair invalid elements. The assistant appears when an element is to be basified, destroyed or become obsolete. In addition, the new version includes improved pipe shapes on spirals as well as swept-shape improvements. It can extend several faces or two sets of faces and trim. For assemblies and components, the software features automatic part numbering and force calculation on joints. Users can rotate a component during insertion and perform mitre cuts on bent parts.
