Scientific Cutting Tools offers a line of indexable boring bars, port tools and thread mills that use through-coolant technology. Because each flute has a cooling hole, the carbide remains hard and the tools last longer and provide smoother surface finish because they resist overheating. Both diamond- and triangle-shaped carbide inserts are available for the through-coolant indexable boring bars as well as three- and five-flute port tools. All of the tools are available with or without AlTiN coating.
