View MoreTungaloy introduces its AH7025 PVD grade for TungCut, a multifunctional grooving tool with two-cornered inserts. TungCut provides stable and long tool life because of its unique rigid insert clamping system. The tool series covers a variety of grooving operations from small-part to general machining.
The AH7025 grade achieves high wear and chipping resistance thanks to the combination of the high-aluminum, multi-layer coating and the substrate, the combination of which makes it particularly suitable to the demands of grooving operations, the company says. The grade is applicable for grooving, turning and parting off a variety of materials including steel, stainless steel and heat-resistant alloys.
