View MoreLiebherr Gear Technology will introduce its LK 300 and 500 gear skiving machine series. The designs of these machines are based on corresponding large hobbing machines, but with greater rigidity and more powerful spindles. The tables have direct drives to handle the high workpiece speeds required, and the drive works with an automatic control to keep optimal parameters. It also features a complex clamping fixture that links the workpiece and the machine. Because skiving is a dynamic process, the machine is supplied on a turnkey basis with individual clamping fixtures for each workpiece designed for precise rigidity and contour accuracy.
Also featured will be the Skiving3 program, an integrated approach that provides the whole process, including the machine, tools and technology for gear production.
