View MoreHelios has released a solution for chamfer-deburring. The Helios TM 250-CNC gear deburring machine built to empower manufacturers to deburr gears more productively. The machine from evolves from the company’s 250 strategy, which uses a rotary table with twin work spindles to minimize idle machine time and maximize potential productivity. Machining is performed on one work spindle while the other is simultaneously unloaded and loaded manually. This configuration enables the possibility of adapting the machine to an automatic loading strategy via robot, cobot (collaborative robot), pick-and-place, or other systems in the future.
The TM 250-CNC also adds a CNC strategy, which enables setup personnel to store all tool spindle parameters. These include radial, axial and tangential positions, as well as tool speed, direction and pressure. A single setup per part number can be established, which can then be consistently repeated by loading a program. Because of the 250’s rotary table feature, the machine can easily integrate automation in the future. With CNC ability, the TM 250 becomes a versatile workhorse for gear manufacturers with a high mix of part types.
