Flexible Stacking Cell Promote Uninterrupted Loading
Felsomat’s latest version of its Flexible Stacking Cell, the FSC 600, will be displayed with a Reishauer gear-grinding machine.
Felsomat’s latest version of its Flexible Stacking Cell, the FSC 600, will be displayed with a Reishauer gear grinding machine. The new cell is built on a fabricated base for easy transportation and quick installation, the company says. The base is designed to contain cutting fluids that are required in the machining process and prevent them from migrating to the factory floor. The cell features active basket hanger locks that promote an accurate and uninterrupted loading sequence, and enable a higher tolerance in the baskets. This type of automation is available with a gantry loader or FANUC robot.
Also on display is the FHC 80 hobbing machine with integrated conveyor that is loaded and unloaded directly to and from the dunnage with skewers. This solution is said to decrease floor space requirements and is controlled directly by the machine in one compact hobbing cell.
