Unlike some standard serrated flange bolts that will cut into the part’s surface paint, plating or finish, causing rust under the bolt, the flange locking bolts do not have serrations that will mar the surface or plating of parts. In addition, the bolts can be uninstalled and reused without reapplication of locking patches or additional hardware.
The bolts are custom-made according to the users’ specifications for their applications. For example, zinc-plated or corrosion-resistant stainless steel makes the bolts suited for such industries as material handling, construction, medical, packaging, racing and more. In addition, the bolts can be made suitable for environments in which wide discrepancies in temperatures and harsh environmental conditions are likely to occur.
