The Kalamazoo Metal Muncher series MM is a complete five-station fabrication center in a single unit. The center is said to provide versatility and improved productivity in a smaller footprint compared to two separate machines. The fabrication center includes a punch press, flat bar/plate shear, coper, notcher and angle shear, with a round and square shear available as an option. The two-cylinder/two-person operation enables the punch and shear ends to operate separately, independently or simultaneously at full capacity and full speed.
The center features an adjustable stroke length ranging to 9" and a ram size as large as 3". The punch and die holders are said to be easy to change, and the die block can be removed to accept virtually unlimited accessories. The swing-away stripper provides access to the ram stem for quick punch changing. The standard large table accepts a breakset as large as 48" and large special tooling.
