The company has expanded its line of Threads-All solid carbide thread mills, which are designed for stainless steel, titanium, inconel and other difficult-to-machine materials ranging in hardness to 58 Rc. Engineered for quality threads and prolonged tool life, the line’s new models require minimal tooling and quickly adapt to a range of threading requirements, the company says.
With eight standard sizes—#10, ¼, 5/16, 3/8, 7/16, ½, 5/8 and 3/4—users can quickly and economically produce more than 100 common screw thread designations, including UNC, UNF, STI UNC, UNEF, UNS, UNJC, UNJF, M and MJ, the company says. Additionally, all tools in the line provide total control over pitch diameter limits, including 2B, 3B, 3BG and virtually all oversize variants.
