The company says their ERGO 9031 adjustable wrench provides a 40 percent wider jaw opening for gripping large nuts, and easy access in confined, hard-to-reach spaces. Designed for plumbers and HVAC contractors, the large jaw, angled at 15 degrees, extends to 1 ¦Ð " (38 mm), and quickly fits around ¡Ü" radiator valves, and compression fittings including 1 ¦Ð" pipe couplings. Furthermore, the knurl is deeply grooved, and the opening below it generous, for easy adjusting, even when wearing gloves. The head of the wrench also features a measuring scale for proper adjustment.
