The live tools are said to be well-suited for manufacturing medical parts. They feature a labyrinth seal that shields internal components from contaminants during operation. To decrease flex and damp vibration, housings are made of high-strength alloy steel and solid shafts of tool steel. The tools are equipped with ABEC 7 or better spindle bearings.
