Depressed Center Wheel Grinder

The company’s 4 ½” diameter depressed center wheel grinder features a 1-hp air motor in an ergonomic design. The 12,000-rpm tool is useful for stock removal, metal cleanup prior to welding and for removing weld beads.
The tool features a one-piece governor design for maintaining rpm under load, a safety-lock throttle to prevent accidental start-up and a "Grip-traction" side handle, which the company says increases safety and reduces hand fatigue. Other features include a thermal insulated housing, a low profile design and a rear exhaust inline muffler assembly, which reduces sound levels to 78 dbA.
The grinder’s safety guard and wheel flange kit can be used with type 27 reinforced depressed center wheel grinders.
