Sandvik Coromant's CoroDrill 805 enables the drilling of deep holes without moving the workpiece to a dedicated machine. In addition, operators can complete all operations in a single setup. The drill is available in diameters from 0.98" to 2.56" with length-to-diameter ratios as high as 13 times the diameter. In most applications, the drill can achieve deep-hole drilling without requiring extra coolant pump capacity, the company says.
