The company introduces the Genesis series of gear hobbing machines. The series is suited for dry machining and features a compact footprint, while delivering productivity improvements for spur and helical gears, the company says. Support for diameters to 210 mm is included. Also offered are the Genesis threaded wheel-grinding machine and P600/800 profile grinding machines.

The P600/800 G profile-grinding machine is equipped with profile grinding software that is designed to reduce manual setup and other non-productive time. After gears are produced, conformance to print tolerances can be verified with the company’s Sigma 475 and 1500GMM analytical gear testers, which are said to deliver accuracy and flexibility for complete bevel gear and cylindrical gear inspection. Both gear testers use a 3D scanning probe head. Data collection and processing is achieved via GAMA native Windows-based software, which is capable of covering an array of cylindrical and bevel gear applications.
