A new addition to the company's series of axial flow fans provide a maximum airflow of 547 cfm with a maximum static pressure of 1.06" of water (model MRS20-BUL) with a single-phase 115 VAC, 60 Hz power input. Other standard models include the single phase 230 VAC, 60 Hz (MRS20-DUL) and the three-phase 230 VAC, 60 Hz (MRS20-TUL). All models share equivalent air moving performance and are available with a low speed alarm circuit.
Audible noise performance is below 61 dB(A) for all models at the rated speed of 3,400 rpm. The fan size is 7.87 square inches × 3.54" thick. The product can be used to replace large numbers of smaller fans and fan trays in cooling applications, the company says. Based upon computational fluid dynamics simulations, the new fan is capable of a cooling effect roughly equal to that of four fan trays (with 6 fan units, each 4.69".
The operating ambient temperature ranges from -10°C to +60°C (14°F to 140°F). A built-in thermal protector is said to provide safe operation.
