The SM series 7.5- and 10-hp rotary screw compressor has been updated with the Sigma Control Basic system, which offers pressure control. The display provides the operating status information and the maintenance indicators help keep air systems running virtually “trouble free,” the company says.
The compressors also include the Sigma Profile airend, which is said to provide high-cfm flows, with low electrical consumption in pressures as high as 205 psig. Standard features include a TEFC motor and an automatic belt-tensioning device. A built-in aftercooler lowers air temperature for moisture removal. The sound-damping enclosure and anti-vibration pads promote quiet operation, while removable panels give access to all major components.
