The compact e1p63c dot-peen marking system from SIC Marking is suitable for permanent identification of metal and plastic workpieces, particularly heavy and bulky parts or difficult-to-access areas. The handheld marking gun also can be used in harsh working environments. Manufactured from a single cast aluminum chassis and handle, the marking system offers a rigid construction for minimal vibration. The portable gun weighs 2.6 kg and measures 205 × 203 × 133 mm. It offers a marking area measuring 60 × 25 mm.
The e1 controller enables users to cradle the controller with both hands and enter data using the thumbs. The high-definition color display measuring 320 × 240 pixels eases viewing and programming with icon-driven menus. The system’s software enables marking alphanumeric text, logos and datamatrix codes. A USB port is used for importing and exporting marking files.
