Compact, Portable Dot-Peen Marker

The Micro Mark from Kwik Mark is a versatile, compact dot-peen marker that is said to be well-suited for handheld applications as well as on-machine integration. The unit’s head size measures 3" × 5" × 6", weighs approximate 5 lbs and offers a 1" × 2.5" marking field to suit most industrial marking applications. It is designed for easy integration with additional I/O (with logic) that streamlines communication with other equipment when required and enables data to be imported from external files.

A line centering feature automatically centers the marking image to the workpiece, whether the image is single or multiple lines, graphics or both with no measuring or operator input required. This feature can be applied in X, Y or both axes and is particularly helpful for marking round parts such as shafts and pipes, the company says. The Micro Mark’s light-weight, balanced handle suits both left- and right-handed operators.
